Li Anne Liew is a filmmaker, motion/graphic designer, and photographer born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is a graduate of the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University.
She is inspired by unknown cities, and the emotional quality of settling within familiar and unfamiliar places. She hopes to forever make films that make the mundane feel grand and intimate.
Her films have been screened at various Academy-Award qualifying film festivals. Her short film Where No One Lives was featured at the 8th Annual CAA Moebius Film Showcase and was shortlisted at the Cannes Lion Young Director Award.
Li Anne was previously a Digital Designer at Pop-Up Magazine and a Design Intern at the Los Angeles Times.
